LaVerne Pick "One might ask what Real Estate was like fifty years ago, quite different! I could probably count on my ten fingers the number of REALTORS, Brokers and Agents at that time. It seems a long-long time ago and yet it passes very quickly. I was fortunate to be an agent with A.J. Junek Realty, a broker, and builder of new homes; so was my husband. Of course, there were no lockboxes hanging on front knobs, fences or water faucets. In fact, MLS first came into play in the 1980's. More builders were building new homes and more agents in real estate. Before then you may see four or five different realtor signs in one yard.. After thirty-two years Mr. Junek retired and at that time Gordon Wiggers and I formed 1st Pick Realty. It was a good twelve years and then we joined Covington Real Estate, Inc. It is so gratifying to assist people finding their first home and see their families grow. Obviously, I have a love for my profession to continue such a long time!
Gordon Wiggers “After a successful career with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, my interest in real estate led me to pursue a second career in home sales in the Temple/Belton area. I have now been in the business of serving the real estate needs of many central Texas families since 1992. Since I serve on the Board of Trustees, I have a special interest in the welfare of the students, faculty and administration of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Additional civic responsibility involves me as a board member of the Belton/Temple Habitat for Humanity whose goal is to replace substandard housing with affordable new homes. I have an abiding interest in real estate and I eagerly await the privilege of serving my next client!”
I love Belton and the surrounding area! Selling real estate has not only been a ministry to many families but a lot of fun too! It is such a joy to introduce people to the area and then see them get plugged in! While I'm a "cheerleader" for the community I'm also an advocate for my clients. My experience, persistence, and enthusiasm allows me to successfully negotiate on my clients’ behalf, aggressively market properties where it counts, and work with other offices/agents in a professional and courteous manner to get results!
“You can take the boy out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the boy! I love my farm and ranch heritage, which I still practice, but I also have 30 plus years experience in civil engineering, heavy construction, surveying, home building, and commercial site assessments. Call me about how my experience can be an asset in providing professional real estate services that will meet your needs.”
“I was raised in Bell County, therefore I have an intimate knowledge of the community. In my spare time, I enjoy raising horses, wood crafting, gardening, and decorating wedding cakes. Over the years, I’ve been involved in Belton Youth Baseball, Band Boosters, FFA, 4-H, Bell County Youth Fair and my church. I’m married to Jim, my high school sweetheart! I have two children and one grandchild. My real estate training, GRI designation, and 25 years of building and construction experience have allowed me to achieve top honors in my field. I’m ready to put that experience to work for you!”
Tina Smith "Confidence, Perseverance, Determination. I am confident in my capabilities and you will be too. I persevere until I find the perfect home for my buyers and I persevere until I can put a SOLD sign out for my sellers. I’m determined to close the transaction in a timely, stress free and professional manner. My real estate career spans almost a decade and I’ve accumulated extensive experience with first time home buyers, investors, land sales and working with home builders to ensure the buyer has adequate representation. My goal is to always represent my clients as if they were family, putting their interests above all else. I’ve lived in the Temple/Belton area my entire life. My husband and I have two adult children that both attended school in Belton. I am active in the Temple-Belton Board of REALTORS, where I’ve served on numerous committees, as director (2005-2007) and as the 2010 President. My community service includes President of the Junior League of Bell County, the Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas, City of Belton Zoning Board of Adjustments, PTA President, Director of Children’s Ministry at FUMC of Belton and the Friends Feeding Friends Food Drive.
Loraine Goode “With over 10 years business experience, I take pride in putting together smooth, trouble free transactions. To do an even better job, continuing education plays an important role in my success. In receiving top sales and top listing awards, I have earned the reputation of getting the job done. Being a multi-million dollar producing agent is a full time job! Hard work and quality service is what I offer my clients. Do you know any reason why I can’t sell your home or find that perfect home for you?”
ROWENA MILLER My family and I were transferred here to the Killeen/Belton/Temple area as my father was an active member of the US Army and we were stationed at Ft Hood in 1969. This is an area that I have grown to love over the last (almost) 40 years and am proud to call home! After college, I began my career in banking and later in real estate. I have an extensive background in mortgage financing, title company escrow/closing and real estate sales. I welcome the opportunity to provide you with service whether you are a first time buyer, a seasoned investor or just need assistance in selling your home in today’s ever changing market.
Tiffani & Keith Foxx "Energy is required to follow me around! Just ask my husband (and assistant)! As mother of 3 girls, fire fighter and law enforcement supporter, real estate investor, and full time REALTOR, I am organized, efficient, and agressive. Call me if I can help you get on the fast track with your real estate needs!" Jennifer Jones Being born and raised in the Texas Panhandle, I never thought I would call anywhere else "home". Since moving to the Temple/Belton area in 2005, I quickly learned why people love living here. My husband and I feel very blessed to work, live, and raise our son in such a great community. As a full time REALTOR, I work hard to make sure your family's move is as easy as possible. Whether you're buying or selling, I will give you my best. Thank you for the opportunity to earn your business!
Tanya Cosper I am a fourth generation Texan and grew up close to the Gulf Coast. I now call Central Texas home and have for over ten years! I love living in the Temple/Belton area and enjoy the small-town atmosphere and beautiful countryside. My joys in life are my God, children and family, house hunting, outdoor activities, and animals. Prior to being a REALTOR, my professional background included Sales and Sales Management, dealing with Financial Institutions. I sincerely love helping people find the home they desire and making that process both enjoyable and stress-free. I would appreciate the opportunity to help you, as well.
JIM COVINGTON I'm a baseball fanatic . . . and football, and basketball! My favorite teams are of course the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders and Belton Tigers. I'm also a team player in trying to match up landlords and tenants! As property manager I am dedicated to taking the burden off of you as the property owner and placing qualified tenants in your home. Let's team up!
